More of the special chicas I will remember always.
Jailbirds that I bailed out of San Marco womens prison in 2000. One day a month or so before I bailed out the 5 Haitian chicas, I heard Alaida (who was a little older and maybe the mother superior of the Haitian chicas that live in the barrio behind my condo) was calling me from below my balcony. It was about 5pm and she had a pretty young Haitian chica with her. She ask to come up. I went down and opened the gate and up they came. The pretty little chica was named Yolanda and she had just arrived from Haiti. Could not speak a word of Spanish or English. Alaida said Yolanda was hungry and needed a place to stay. I fixed supper and they both stay the night.

Wanda threw me this great birthday party with lots of friends and a big buffet with a cake. This was in April and all the while she was having an affair with a guy in Consuelo. She left in May after I found out about all the phone calls (556 in one month) she charged to the hotel phone.
